Was going through some pennies found the 1989 with severe blistering would this be considered a mint error thank you for your positive feedback
The plating issues are common, and not worth more then a cent. If you want to collect these, hold out for nice examples, they can be found without surface issues.
You'll find that this is a common problem with Lincoln cents produced after 1982 when they started making the Zincolns. Chris
