Hi all, hoping someone could help me identify if this is genuine or possible PMD? I’ve done some research but still unsure as I’m new to the collecting hobby at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated

Altered edge. A Clipped planchet (Actually known as an Incomplete Planchet because it isn't actually clipped) would have the Copper plating and the zinc would not show.

Thank you for the fast reply. I was thinking PMD but as I’m new I thought I would double check

Thank you for the reply. I did look on Google and read about the different ways you can tell including the Blakesley effect and also the belly of the cut ‍♂️ Hopefully I will find a genuine one soon as they are pretty interesting

Definitely ground down so it’s PMD and not an error.
