Does such an error exist? After roll hunting I found a Kennedy Half that has a mintmark that looks like a P over D error, or is it just a light scratch going through the middle of the D, making it look a little like a P? I wish I could take a picture, put my camera won't zoom in far enough!
Turn on the macro mode. It should be a button with a flower on it/next to it. This will allow you a much sharper image.
