Just by looking at the date I can tell it is just DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling Nothing to do with a True Doubled Die
My point to the other poster was he is giving false hope after others said otherwise. I like to keep coins also, but they are actual errors and varieties. I want you to keep those things, not simple damaged coins. I want you to learn what to keep and what to release back into circulation.
Joy, not intending to throw a wet blanket on this, but what exactly do you see as "two errors"? This is just a crappy Zincoln cent - spend it. Don't give up the pursuit, I like your enthusiasm, but by the same token, don't think every little imperfection is something special....especially on zinc cents. Machine doubling & die deterioration are extremely common on these. Keep the faith!
