It was expensive too. $442.00 . nice grade for this variety.

 

I really like that coin and would LOVE to have one, but....the expense is why I don't.

 

they have lower graded ones for less money. I saved up for this coin and this 1943-P doubled eyed nickel variety $325.00. my next goal will be a doubled die 1972 cent. the grade I want is in the $600-650 range. starting to save up now.

 

The eye doesn't interest me like the ear does. The ear is so much more noticeable to me, whereas the eye, at least to me, just looks like a damaged coin.
No offense, that's just me.

Hey, I also want one of those doubled 1955 pennies. That looks so cool.

 

Idhair is this your coin ? Envy is thee word. A DDO 1955 is in my far distant future buy list. These get very expensive.
