1989 D double die?

    It would be easier to tell if the photos were a little sharper and properly oriented. :)

    From what I can see in the photos it does not look like a doubled die. Sometimes the super thin copper plating on the zinc causes the coins to look this way . Then other times mechanical doubling will look this way.

    Also, from your photos the reverse looks like it has some split plate doubling.

    No.. Not a Doubled Die
    Die Deterioration doubling on the Obverse. Considered worthless doubling.
    Split plating on the Reverse.

    Copper plated Zinc Cents have those issues when the Die becomes worn.
