Sorry ahead of time but my microscope is acting up, this cent is very bright copper color and for some reason that throws the microscope off and it will not copy the bright color. On the top of the coin where " In God We Trust " is, there is a line, from a strike I guess in " We Trust " . What do you guys think?
Its called a ridge ring a key sign for DDD die deterioration doubling.A very worn out die in general,Lincoln's head is awful mushy and lacking lots of detail also. Not an error still a cent though, your decision to keep it or spend it.
That 1989 Cent is a keeper. Perfect for showing others what a Ridge Ring looks like. Thanks for sharing.
