1989 cent double die

    hey guys,

    Has anybody ever heard of a 1989 cent double die? I recently found one while crh a brinks box of cents. the 1,8, and 9 have a shadow strike on the right side of them.

    nope, and it sounds like either strike doubling or plating

    Not the first time I've heard and seen an 1989 MDD... I recalled posting this question a little whiles back in the error section...
    Big difference in the Dies having a doubled strike, and a regular die hitting twice but a little off...
