I found this 1988P Dime in circulation. The field has an orange peel-like matte effect and the lettering is all really weak and shows slight doubling. The border is also slightly misaligned, which I understand to be pretty common. Is this coin victim of a die error or could this coin have been damaged by some sort of chemical? If it is a mint error, is it worth any premium?

It could be the result of die erosion.

I'm not sure what causes it but i really like that orange peel effect.

Could be struck with oil droplets on the die or coin blank.

I'm gonna guess a VERY worn die?

The mintage that year was 1,030,550,000. I must have #1,030,549,999. Any thoughts on how much this coin is worth? The reverse is Mint State with some minor bag marks.
