good morning, I think this is one of the 88 wide AM, the designers init. is more defined the serif on the letter G , Thank you in advance. Dottie
@Dj67 Here, Dottie! Save this page, and it will save you a lot of trouble remembering which ones are supposed to be WAM and which ones are supposed to be CAM. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/wideams.html Chris
It' hard to tell but, looks like you got a winner! Reverse of 89. Nice! Congrats. Keep the hunt going.
oh boy I'm excited, the pictures are really blurry,, but I'm again almost sure I have 2 of them here is the one my daughter found not a minute after I found that one. she is so darn competitive, lol, I think I have her trapped into this now, especially if even just the first one is, but compared to all others these both are very different, thanks again!! Dottie and Lindalee
good morning, my camera is really crappy, but the one on the bottom of the example is definitely close to the one(s) I have, there are both lines horizontal and vertical on the G's I'll work on better pictures to show it clearly, thank you
I'm sorry, but both are the normal design. And get rid of that stupid wide am designation. I don't understand why they call it that. Both varieties have the wide am.
enamel7, as for that stupid wide am designation, that is what it was described as on the YouTube video from coin-op, which I uploaded to a thread on Nov 7th.I did try to edit the name of the thread and was unable to do.as I also said my camera is crappy, but for the pictures I have posted, I guess the trained eye, experienced person is able to identify what I'm showing, attached is a pic that you may see where the G is from the 89 reverse. 1988 Lincoln cent with the 89 reverse
Maybe it's the pic, but I see the end of the top of the G, just like the one I just typed, forms a straight line down to the crossbar. That is the 005.
