Hi, I recently found an 1988 penny with no fg on the back. Has anyone seen this before? Fairly common?

That would be great, just wondering if it was one the old to much oil in the die or something?

More than likely a grease filled die. Or possibly got polished off. Keeper!

Most likely just a grease filled die. However, it looks like there could a dropped letter there.

Thankyou for the quick replies. I was wondering if I should send it to be graded or just keep it in a safe place? Thanks again for all the help.
