There are raised areas between the eye and Liberty and beneath the chin. Is this a clash? If so, of what?
It appears so. Try to imagine the area of the die as it comes into contact with the other die. Since the reverse is upside down to the obverse, the top of the torch would strike the area around Roosevelt's neck. The most prominent clash would be Roosevelt's profile on the reverse. Chris
