The closest thing I can find to this on Wexlers is DDO-007 or DDR-001, but I’m not sure it’s either of them. Can anyone confirm if this is a known variety? Thanks!
It looks like surface condition attributable to an aggressive reddressing of the die face post clash.

Hi MC - looking at your specimen, there is a crack running from the bottom left of the Memorial to the rim. That's a significant diagnostic that Wexler wouldn't typically miss. That said, the specimen might be from a different die state and not all die states (EDS, MDS, LDS, VLDS) are represented (or known perhaps). However, I don't see the typical bulging in the 8s of the date. Actually, they look pretty uniform in the picture. But I could be wrong, especially with the coin in hand.
