@James Gordon ...1988 was a transition year, in that, for most of the year the normal reverse with FG (designer's initials, Frank Gasparro) had no serif on the G. Sometime toward the end of the year the reverse intended for use in 1989 was used to finish out the 1988 run. The Reverse of 1989 has the G/FG with the serif. The Wide AM reference is used in some publications but this is misleading since they were all WAM until 1992...jmho...Spark
