Hey guys in your opinion is this or is this not a wide a.m. I have compared it with three other 88 D and in the book it appears to be a wide am to me thanks
Sorry about that I read the book wrong I guess that's what happens when you're new won't make that mistake again
Looks like the RDV-006 Reverse ... http://varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/Memorial Reverse Design Varieties.htm
Yeah I have cherrypickers guide volume 6 I'm an idiot it was right there in front of me but sometimes you get tunnel vision I appreciate it thank you
Oldman! Rick is right that is a reverse die 006,and a fine example at that. Most of the reverse die,s with type of FG have been polished to death and it's hard to tell one from the other. So hold on too that one. IT's a keeper.
I appreciate that if it's that rare maybe I need to think about getting rid of it getting stuck on that wide am gave me a headache
Hey Billy you guys been real helpful you think you could take a look at this 1968 for me this thing has stumped me and
Yes sir I sure will when I get home.the mint mark looks like there's something under it. What are you seeing it's hard to tell on my phone.
I can help with that one too . First off, there's a WWHO for this year 1968-S 1¢ WWHO-001 Description: A very slight CW spread shows on the LIBE of LIBERTY. A spread towards the rim shows on IGWT. Die Markers: The obverse and reverse die markers will vary with each affected working die. Submitted By: Various individuals. Cross References: None known Comments: Numerous working dies for all three Mints were created with this doubled working hub including S-Mint proof dies. Here's wexler site and this is where I posted the WWHO from . Only 1-4 applies http://www.doubleddie.com/814681.html Here's coppercoins site and only the first three applies . http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/dietype.php?date=1968&die_mint=s&die_type=do&page=0 Here's coneca site and only 1 and 3 applies . http://varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/DDO 1968-S.htm Good luck .....................
