I found this penny with what I hoping is a repunched mint mark. Let me know what you guys think and as always thank you in advance.

This appears to be a case of split-plate doubling...very common and often mistaken for an RPM. The copper plating split open around the mintmark creating a raised anomaly.
    Keep up the hunt!

It looks like a die break. It is not unusual to see such breaks along the edge of a device.

Are you sure it isn't a die break? I was (hunt-and-peck) typing while you posted.

It does not look like a die break IMO. I have seen many other coins with split-plate doubling in pretty much the exact same area. You can see a similar effect here:

When you enlarge the mint mark it looks like an RPM to me...not split-plate doubling.

It doesn't allow me to view the link to the photo since I'm not registered there. I don't collect them because those little buggers give me headaches. So do dimes!

If it were an RPM (which I don't think it is), I would expect it to show in more than just that one area. I would at least expect to see the vertical bar of the mintmark as well.

Here is an example of split plate doubling...

And here is an example of a platting bubble that decided to rot. It has a similar appearance to the coin in this thread.
