1987 Washington quarter, missing letters, filled die ?

    That is a typical grease filled die example. Not a premium for the amount of area affected, usually the larger greasers will command a bit more. This is one of those errors that have very little fanfare in the collecting community.

    Looks like a grease fill. It is an error but a very minor one.
