I have a 1987 us quarter from the pennsylvania mint. It seems to be slightly smaller than another 1987 quarter that i have and the lettering is slightly different like it has been smashed or something. I am not a coin collector butr found this unusual. Some of the lettering is slightly cut off from the ring around the quarter any imput or knowledge of its worth or if thois is a mint error is appreiated
Sorry i cant figure out how to post pictures on here
I agree. Larger photos are needed. It is possible (perhaps likely) that the coin has either been spooned or spent some time in a commercial clothes dryer fin. (Search the threads for 'dryer coin'.)
