1987 s set Lincoln copper hair?

    Still going through some of my sets and found this interesting one.
    It appears that on the Lincoln penny there’s a copper hair? It’s even reflective.
    Also this set has some blue tone and black spots. Do you think it’s because of the coin holder getting air inside?

    Yes definitely a strike through. Looks like a type 2 . Retained strike through. It looks like it’s sticking up off of the coin.

    Any idea what kind of value this might hold? Is it better to sell it as it is or send it for grading? It looks really neat either way:)

    It's maybe a $2.00 coin. Graded, maybe $4.00 to $5.00. The "hair" wouldn't play in the value, IMO. Some might see it as a positive, others as a negative. It's basically a wash.
