1987 nickel DDR?

    Is this die deterioration or DD or both and some MD? the letters in
    MONTICELLO look weird and the M O and L's are real thick
    The words FIVE CENTS also look weird whats going on here?

    My guess would be heavy die deterioration doubling, not a doubled die.
