1987 date error

    check out the date it looks like there is another number under the 8. Also the "N" in one on the reverse, and maybe a grease filled die for the United States oF America and E Pluribus Unum. Also the ridge going around the edge next to LIBERTY. What say you?

    then why isn't the 8 damaged? i'll try to take clearer pics but I can see it clear.

    Not seeing anything out of the ordinary. And that area on the reverse (UofA, EPU) is not a struck through grease. It is a common spot to find a weak strike on a coin, or something like that.
