    1987 d Washington quarter missing clad layer both sides weighs 5.58 grams could it be a missing clad layer on both sides usually I guess it's only on one side from what I've been reading but being light in weight tells me to believe that it is missing clad

    There are very, very few missing clad on both sides. The chances are incredibly slim, and the color doesn't look right either. Looks like the elements ruined it over a long period of time.

    You are talking about less than a 10th of a gram. This is a small piece of gold. 20180424_212450.jpg It weighs 2 tenths of a gram. 20180424_212843.jpg
    This is not gonna cover two sides of a quarter, it won't even cover one side of a dime.
