    Found this also that'll take to watch the video how do you tell if the clad layer is missing or this has been damaged by somebody

    It's a damaged coin. Cents are not clad. They are plated with copper.

    Just a toned copper plated zinc planchet.
    It's just dirty/altered surface.

    Not a mint error of any kind.

    But since you recently stated that you are leaving CoinTalk it doesn't matter anyway o_O

    It’s just toned from the environment. Cents from 1983 are copper plated zinc. 1982 was the transitional year as there are a number of varieties for that year of large and small dates, copper and zinc. Cents from the very beginning have never been clad coins.
