Anyone on here ever heard of this term? This is one I found today. Also, here is a website you can read the article on. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...xQ-8i-R0bx_8EpQPA&sig2=MESt9EQJmChs9dUhRbxoCg
Could be. Ther is also a hint if DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling on the date.. I love Mike Diamonds Coinworld error articles. They are very informative! Do you know that he is a member of ConTalk? He appears occasionally to answer some of our error questions. He has even corrected me once or twice
Yeah, I think I have seen him on here a couple times. He is on Lincoln Cent Forum too. He is a very knowledgeable man from what I have seen. I did post this on Lincoln Cent Forum and Mike did confirm that this is the high relief mint mark. I have not been doing much coins lately. Our banks down here at the beach are getting mostly new boxes of pennies in now. It is getting hard to find older ones now. I don't do the sheild cents. They hurt my eyes.
That is an interesting read. Thanks for posting, and nice find! Instead of just looking for RPM's I might just start rolling the 87' D until it gets sorted out.
