    Could be. Ther is also a hint if DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling on the date..

    Do you know that he is a member of ConTalk? He appears occasionally to answer some of our error questions. He has even corrected me once or twice :jawdrop:

    Yeah, I think I have seen him on here a couple times. He is on Lincoln Cent Forum too. He is a very knowledgeable man from what I have seen. I did post this on Lincoln Cent Forum and Mike did confirm that this is the high relief mint mark. I have not been doing much coins lately. Our banks down here at the beach are getting mostly new boxes of pennies in now. It is getting hard to find older ones now. I don't do the sheild cents. They hurt my eyes.

    Instead of just looking for RPM's I might just start rolling the 87' D until it gets sorted out.
