    I found this in a box of Silver Eagles. Can someone help in determining the value please?

    I'd say it's worth about $750. It is a proof 1986W one ounce gold eagle. One ounce of gold is worth about $565 at the moment and since it is a proof it carries about a $200 premium above the spot price of gold.
