Have the word STATES is almost faded away and there is almost a tear drop in between the S&T in States

That's what happens when dies get tired. It's a normal penny.

The coin was probably struck weakly as the die had some grease on it. It's normal. Spend it.

Do you realize that if more people searched the archives for answers there would be one million fewer posts.

Do you realize, Chris, that you don't have to pay attention to threads with questions that annoy you?

If you want a million less posts, the answer is simple, don't reply to them. Let others learn. That's why there are here.

I don't claim to know everything, and my mommy doesn't make my breakfast any more. What is exasperating is that this same question is asked again and again just about every week. The OP has been here for 7 months!

Who said they're learning? The same questions get asked over and over and many of them have been here for months.

What annoys me is that these questions are not being asked by newcomers. They are being asked by people who have been here for months, and these questions are posted practically every week. Don't they read?

I don't want to step on any toes because I really like you guys but I think the OP for this thread was just showing a Cent he found.. He really wasn't asking any questions :(

Simple.. on the upper right hand corner where it states Search... just type in a key word, such as Doubled Die, Grease Strike, silver or gold bullion, Wheat Cent.. whatever you might want to find out about that's been talked about in past threads.. hence Archives!

@cpm9ball Chris might explain it better! ;)

    TJ,

I want you to understand that I have no complaints about someone asking a question when they are new to these forums. It's like getting lost while driving through a strange town. What I object to is someone who has lived in the town for a few months, and still doesn't know where the grocery store is located.
