Been kinda slow on the error forum lately, so I thought I'd share this Lincoln. Its nothing major, and hard to photograph, but its definitely not a scratch/gouge. Just a fun find while searching pennies. Wish the wire had stuck, but that's a bit much to ask after 19 years of ciruclation
NEAT...I know what you mean by saying you wish the wire was still there...My Bro-in-law found a ASE with a error kindof like this...the line it left was filled partly with grease...its at ANACS along with some other ASE errors and a nice PF Comm! I don't look throught my change like you did!!...I just keep it in a big old (like jar) thing and cash it in when I'm going out of town...I have found a few neat things when I did look...a SQ with a lamination...was kindof neat...and also some others that go right back in with the rest of the change.
