Good evenig gentlemen i came across this and was curious anyone could give me some knowledge around the p mint mark it seems caved in
Since mintmarks are convex on the coin, that means they are punched into the die and are concave. Crumbling of the die around these mint marks makes them look like this. Note also the metal flow on the rest of the coin, a worn die. Welcome to CT.
