I put some unc rolls on ebay, and a roll of unc 1986 lincolns is up over $11.00. They aren't rare are they? Is there an error this year? I just wondered why the high bids.

Nothing I know of. Apparently 2 people need a roll.

Sometimes I am surprised by the bidders. Maybe I should have put an Indian cent at the end of the roll. Then it would go over $40.

    That sounds cheap.

The last I looked these wholesale at $18.

It was a low mintage mint set and few rolls were saved. A lot of the few that were saved have gone bad.

They are tough to find, simple. CDN is $16.50....and that's wholesale. The 1986-D rolls are CDN $27! :D

Yep what everyone else said and the fact the copper plating and the die problem makes nice example hard to find. Look at the reverse of the coin and at the top the OF will always be worn, even on BU coins.
