1986 Liberty Half Question

    Does this look like a proof coin to you Folks?
    Or were they not frosted back in that year?

    With the San Francisco mint mark it is a proof coin. So says the Red Book.
    This is the first Copper-Nickel Clad Half Dollar Commemorative.

    It's likely an impaired proof, as it appears to be a circulated coin.
    1986-D mm is a regular strike, S mm is PRF
