I needed a little break from my norm so tonight I took a look at some Nickels and Dimes that I had laying around. I came across this 1986 D Mint Dime. When looking at the pile of coins I noticed that 1 of the dimes had thicker lettering then the rest of the other dimes. Everything on the obverse pops. The lettering is also extremely close to the rim and the outer rim has no PMD. All the reeding looks good and not ground down. Is this common? Also, what years for Dimes are years that I should be keeping my eyes open for? Any pointers when dealing with Dimes?
