All caused by a worn die Pam. Notice the line that follows the edge and goes through the letters in TRUST. That’s called a ridge ring and that’s from C a worn die. So is the waves in the copper coating and yes, the way the 6 in the date looks too.
The ridge ring is caused by a worn/deteriorating die. Damage from a rolling machine is further away from the edge.
I used to save those, thinking they were doubling. Then I joined Coin Talk !! and got schooled. Still got a large Coffee-Mate tub full of them. Maybe if I hold on to them long enough, they'll come into Vogue. watch
