I found this penny in my box, and it looks like a RPM, but when checking out coppercoins.com, I could not find a match. Any help?

It is not MD, dude. I know the difference. Any one else? Sorry, I did ask though. I don't think it is.

And what I see on the date looks like die-deterioration.

My name is not dude ,and most likely what you said it;s probably a form Of die deterioration doubling by your pics dude, on the date and the MM. There's no variety for this date I already checked dude.sorry

OK, I don't think there is MD on this coin, because MD shows a "shelf-like " appearance and this coin actually looks like it has another letter under the first. You can see both sides of the bar on the left. Sorry about the dude thing, It is a generational thing.

Try and post a different angle on the mm sometimes you really can't tell by photos ,and that's ok about the dude thing i was just kidding with you. There's definetly a form of DDD on the 9 you could see that.I have seen alot of machine doubling on these dates along with plating split doubling.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Hmmm.... this one has potential, but I'm not sure. Its definitely DDD on the date, but I can't make up my mind if its damage (such as a hit or mark), MDD, or a true RPM.

Why don't you email Chris Daugherty, the operator of coppercoins.com. Or, you could look at CONECA and see who the attributer is for Lincoln RPMs. They will be able to guide you better, and possibly have you send it in if they think its worth it. If you send it to one of them, and it turns out to be a new RPM, they will list it in their files and give you credit.

You know, I looked at the coppercoins.com website and it has kinda of a listing that describes my coin as a CW rotation, but they don't have a pic. Who do I contact if I want to send it in?

By examinig your pics I have to say this has a very good potential for a new variety RPM. When an RPM is not listed it doesn't mean that it;s not an RPM, but a possible new variety and yours just may be that. new varieties are found every day

I would say a 90 percent chance it is Jessash. I will see if I could get close to your RPM what it may be on coppercoins site.

It looks like the nine took a hit. Just trying to rule out damage.
