1986 D LMC Coming Out of Circulation

    Found this 1986 D Lincoln Memorial Cent while searching through my latest box from the bank. I'm surprised it has survived all these years in circulation.

    Looks like it has large plating defects. Not sure what you mean. I find 1960s and 70s LMCs in circulation all the time. .

    You could probably do a time lapse video of a zinc cent and watch it deteriorate.

    I took it last week and at the camp firer, I put it in a whiskey bottle and put it in the firer .

    Something like that ..............
