I was in a shop this afternoon and they had a 1986 13 Colonies Cent Set?!?!?!?! The cents were Lincoln Memorial's and they had the abbrev. of the state and the outline of the state to the right on the obverse. Has anybody seen these before and are they worth anything? I went ahead and purchased it because it was differant and I thought I could make some money on it if I ever decided to sell it? Please tell me that I did not make a mistake. Dallas Williams III I'm sorry but the rules are that you can't put links to your site anywhere but your Bio...
Hi, Sorry to say that they are simply a novelty. They are numismatically without value. As a souvenir type of thing, they are interesting but you wont get what you paid for them unless they were under 50 cents for the set. Have Fun, Bill
My oldest daughter thought they were just great when I gave them to her last night. Shes only 4 and yes it made her day!!!!!!
Just wanted to add a note that I had a man looking at some coins today and saw the set we are talking about that I gave my daughter. He made me an offer of $20 so of course I sold it. Any ideas where I can get one to replace my daughters with?
