OK so I was looking at the print run of this note http://www.mycurrencycollection.com/reference/stars/20.php#1985 and I see that run 1 only printed 256,000 while run 2 had 3.2million. My question is, how do you tell which run the bill was in, and if it is one of 256,000, what does that do to its value? Finding and understanding print run figures is proving difficult for me. ok now I see its the 2nd run
It must be from the second run. The highest number listed is E06400000*. This is in the book 6th edition of "Small-Size U.S. Paper Money" by Oakes and Schwartz on page 237. I hope this helps. -O)
