I can't quit tell if it is machine doubling or doubled die. I'm sure someone can help me please? The R and the C here and up top the S and A even though I can't get a good photo of the S and A. They are upside down because my phone editer does not allow me to flip images .
I have some good images of your coin and I think it's a good one Sheila . Here's the link https://www.cointalk.com/threads/1985-lincoln-cent-wexler-ddr.275448/
It looks flat and shelf like to me. There are rough edges, and smudged definition on the doubled part as well. They should be smooth like the non doubled part.
Your coin is MD'ed . As stated the doubling is flat and shelf like , also , the doubling has intruded into and reduced the size of the primary part of the device. A sure sign of MD'ing
