I was coin roll hunting and noticed this 1985 nickel had what appears to be tire marks on the obverse....I took another look with my lighted magnifier and it certainly did look like tire marks. I put it on the side and keep looking through the roll till it was empty. Then after the last nickel came out of the roll, I saw what appeared to be folded white paper..That was a head scratch-er..It was bugging me as to what was it, so I pulled it out, unfolded it....And someone had written on the paper....Here 's what it said. "You must have seen that I did get run over by a car from the marks on my face...After that happened I was yelling out to the people who lived there, " HELP ME! A CAR RAN ME OVER! PLEASE CALL THE POLICE!!" I yelled that many times an no help at all. I will tell you this, as soon as I get out of the hospital, I will certainly be filing a complaint with my Senator. Ohh Yeah.

I can not remember ever laughing that hard! That was hilarious! That certainly brightened up my day! NICKEL NEEDS HELP.jpg

I have one like that and like yours, it isn't a fingerprint but I forget what causes that. It might be on the blank before being struck?

Could that be struck through cloth?

If it has a rough surface, struck through. If not, storage in cloth
