For the past couple of weeks I have been reviewing all of my change that I've acumulated (4 Large Coffee Cans) over the past few years and I came across this. I thought some people would enjoy or learn from seeing the extent of the Die Deterioration on this 1985 Memorial Cent. The pictures amplify the "Orange Peel Texture" more so than in person but you can see there are a lot of things going on this one. If you take away all the orange peel affect the coin for the most part is very clean. I can only find a couple of very small contact marks and the color is real nice. There is also a small die crack on the reverse starting from the "U" in UNITED to the first Memorial Column. I hope you enjoy!
