1985 Lincoln penny error.Has anyone ever seen this before?

    Old adhesive.. We have seen it many times..

    Not a mint error of any kind.

    Clawcoins Damaging Coins Daily

    Definitely looks like glue.
    Someone glued other pennies to both sides. Then they pried the coins off but left the adhesive which left the coin design.

    This is very common in young kids artsy stuff. Even adults will glue coins together to make small castles and other structures.
