I found this 1985 D, Lincoln cent on the ground, and when I held it to the light, it had a rainbow like coloring to it. I was wondering if this was an error, and if this was the RD version of the coin?
It looks like a toned coin. It is not an error. Maybe it was exposed to something in the soil, or the sunlight gave it a toned appearance. Keep up the hunt!
