1985 D PENNY. Might be DD

I've looked at all the sites and they say there's no such thing. But its is what I'm looking at. and

Thanks I was looking at Lincoln Resource and couple others. IF This was one it would be the First one I'veIve Found.

 

I do not see a DD ( doubled die) nor a RPM. Where do you see the possibility? Some deterioration damage on the lettering, but nothing worth while. Jim

 

The 5 on the Date

 

Would help us all if you would state in the beginning what you think to be an error and be specific. I'm not seeing anything from pics!

You have a normal Cent with a worn Die Strike. That causes DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling. Nothing at all to do with a true Doubled Die.
