1985 Cent-Copper removed?

    Can anyone tell me how this is achieved? I got this for Christmas an showed it off but @potty dollar 1878 said it can be achieved easily altered but didn't tell me how. Any help appreciated. :)

    i believe they can use electrolysis, or acid to do it, i read someahweres that there are a lot of cents labeled by anacs, and other graders as legit, when in fact they are not..i dunno, keeper anyways, right??

    This one was dipped in concentrated acids with no stabilizers or control methods. It would have been easy to stabilize against zinc corrosion.

    This one has thermal leaching discoloration to the copper by slowly bringing the temperature to just under the melting point of zinc.

    I get bored at work in the lab some days and really hate the zinc cents, lol
