Hello, everyone. I used to collect coins when I was younger, and this coin is in my collection. I have had this coin since around 1985 or so and I was just wondering how much it is worth. I have seen off center pennies before, but this is the only quarter I have. Found it in circulation when a quarter was worth something to me.

    Hi.

It's a type "d' reverse which makes it a pretty unusual. They were quite common but few were saved and the mint set coins are all type "c".

They had a lot of trouble with centering in 1984 because they used much less upset (reduction of diameter in pushing up metal around the edge). This allowed for a lot of slightly off center pieces. Yours is much more off center than most of course. Well centered 1984 quarters are the exception.
