1984 RPM?

    I'm a newbie in coin collection and I looked on my 1984 coin and I found one that is looking that have RPM. Looked on the internet and didn't see any like this one. Just want to know is RPM O
    or not?

    Nah , No RPM . I don't even see a mintmark .

    To have an RPM, first you need a mint mark...

    No RPM, ok ...then what is this? Is looking like is repun
    Yeah....I know....I have one from 1987 D which is RPM but for me is still interesting what is this....is looking like was repunched number 8 and 4.

    That would be more correctly referred to as a repunched date, and in the era of Zincoln cents, this looks more like split plate doubling or some such. Perhaps @paddyman98 will show up and comment.

    Sorry, you are correct repunched date. Hope we will find what is going on with this coin. Very interesting for me o_O

    Definitely not a Repunched Date..
    Not a Split plate issue..
    It's common DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling.

    Deterioration also causes a Ridge Ring. You can see it to the right of the date. Like a sunk in appearance.

    Yes. DD. It’s typical to see this effect on the outer devices and the date. Old die getting worse with each strike and cleanings.

    Nope..
    Die Deterioration doubling is considered worthless doubling.. It's just a Die Deterioration issue..
