Hi, I have a quarter I've been carrying around with me for a couple weeks now because i thought it looked kinda cool, but wanted to see if i should try to sell it or if it would be worth getting appraised. Not really sure how to describe the error, but I'm guessing you can tell from the pictures. It's on both the front and back, though not as noticeable on the back. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for your time!

Environmental Damage.. some sort of stain
Not a Mint Error. Not worth sending for attribution.

Ok, that's kinda what i was expecting, i just thought i'd check cuz it has the same damage on both sides and they seem to line up perfectly.

I metal detect. There have been a few times where I have dug up buried Quarters that were stacked up on each other. 3 Quarters with the one in the middle slightly shifted to one side will cause the edge from the other 2 Quarters to protect the 1 Quarter from getting the Environmental Damage.. Thus the outline.
