1984 possible cud?

    I found this penny today. It has a few raised bumps I tried picking them off because I figured it was just dirt or something. Any ideas?

    Looks like plating blisters or zinc rot to me.
    Cuds are always on the rim. 20180420_141836.jpg like this below Jeffersons bust.

    Not a cud but plating blisters. As @steve.e said, CUDs involve the break at the rim and go into the device.

    the big blob on the bottom is plating blister? its a little blurry for me to see clearly. any reference links on the subject? please and ty.

    Also, as Fred said, looks to be some corrosion as well. Hence the discoloration.

    I did a dumb dumb move. I am familiar with those blisters. I didn't see the little picture of the penny and thought we were talking about the Jefferson nickel which looked good for a cud. looked so good I couldn't see anything else lol. gonna shut up now ;-)
