1984 P Lincoln Cent - Steel(ish)

    Hey everyone. Found this one in a bag of 7500 cents. I believe it’s plated with something and it looks amazing. Weighs 2.5g and is slightly magnetic. Will hold and be held by a small magnet, but doesn’t jump to it like the ‘43s.
    I’m thinking nickel plating?

    That is correct..
    Nickel plating would make the Cent ferromagnetic (attracted to a magnet), this is fundamental quality of nickel plating.
