My friend Erik thinks this is a Black Beauty! The coin feels like light weight plastic and weights 4.5 grams. IMG_20200204_203124.jpg IMG_20200204_203148.jpg IMG_20200204_203222.jpg Is he right? Can anyone help my friend?

No, that coin is severely damaged. It looks like it’s be burnt and/or exposed to some type of acid.

Most of the BBs are 1958 or 1959, but other dates are possible.
The edge of a BB will be clean.
Since yours is the same burnt color as the rest of the coin, .05 cents.

Not a black beauty but it is a black ugly. It suffers from being environmentally damaged.
