1984 Lincoln Cent, some doubling

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by Paul Broccardi, May 10, 2017.

  1. There is some doubling on the 4 in this 1984 Lincoln cent. I don't think it's a doubled die but its a possibility. Want a second opinion.

  3. Pics were taken with my phone. Didn't think to put my loupe in front. Better pics.
Also, does anyone else find it oddly satisfying to type reverse using only your left hand?

Do you see the sunken area over IN GOD WE? that is due to Die Deterioration.
So I will say your date has DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling
